    We all have an important role in ensuring safe and courteous driving on our interstates, highways and back roads, so please let us all try and remember to:

    ·         Dim high beams to oncoming traffic

    ·         Use caution and safe lane switching by leaving enough room for cars and trucks to switch

    ·         Be sure to turn your lights off and on to let fellow drivers know it is safe to move back into your lane

    ·         Give notice of breakdowns and bear reports

    ·         Be sure to advise other truck drivers of DOT inspections and any other information you may hear over your radio that would be of importance to other drivers

    Also, It is particularly important that we practice courtesy at all truck stops, not just to fellow drivers, but to motorists of both genders and all walks of life.  We can do our part to make truck drivers less of a stereotype and more of a dream for future truckers.
